Col. Newton is a hero of mine.
I weep with his family at our shared loss.
I smile with my Mom and others who now share his home.
He was a Giant of a Man and I will miss him immensely.

I am happy that you could be there with him and am happy as Johnny noted that your Dad will be sharing time with all the loved ones that have gone before us. Our prayers are with you all and though won't be present for the celebration of his life, know that our hearts will be there.
